Evolution of a Beach Sculpture
Erected on a beach May 25th, 2008, an art sculpture's evolution is followed through this photo project. The community and environment continue to contribute to its dynamic presence through a stylized erosion process.

Phonehenge:
Free-transforming cable lines turn into an environmental Turtle City collection of items, and take on a Burning Man-like figure before the ocean's waves sweep it away.

Phonehenge Part II:
A clothesline of ever-present beach finds. The sculpture stood through the beginning of December, then seemingly overnight, it was broken down into a stacked remnant.

Fish Camp:
The stacked remnant took on its own theme, looking like a traditional fish camp along a river. The sustainable treasures found on the beach set the stage for the evolving sculpture.
